Not a Dating Site DescribeYourself is built for real connections through shared activities — tennis, pickleball, walks, and food carts — not for dating or romantic solicitation. Messages, comments, or profile content used for romantic or sexual advances are not permitted.

Respect Each Other Treat other members the way you’d want to be treated in person. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, and abusive behavior of any kind are not tolerated.

Messaging & Group Chats Keep conversations relevant to Portland activities. No spam, self-promotion, explicit content, or solicitation. Moderators review reports and may remove content or restrict access to chat features.

Member Directory Members appear in the directory to connect around shared activities. Do not use member information for commercial solicitation, romantic advances, or any purpose outside connecting around Portland activities.

Reporting a Problem If someone violates these guidelines, let us know. We review every report and take action ranging from a warning to permanently suspending an account, depending on the severity.

Enforcement Violating this policy — including the behaviors described above — can result in immediate suspension or removal of your account, at our discretion.

Changes to This Policy We may update this policy as our community grows. Continued use of DescribeYourself means you accept the current version of this policy.
