DescribeYourself is a Portland‑based community created for people who enjoy connecting through movement, shared interests, and the everyday experiences that make this city unique. We bring together individuals who appreciate tennis, pickleball, long walks, food cart adventures, and exploring Portland’s parks, neighborhoods, and trails.
Our approach is simple, participate, connect, and enjoy the company of people who value the same things you do. Every activity is designed to be approachable, inclusive, and easy to join whether you’re new to the area, new to the sport, or simply looking to meet others in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Why We Started
Finding genuine connections as an adult can be challenging, especially in a city with so much to offer. DescribeYourself was created to make that process easier. We saw an opportunity to bring people together through everyday activities that already bring joy like a casual pickleball match, a friendly tennis match, a walk through a favorite neighborhood, or discovering a new food cart. These simple moments create space for conversation, friendship, and belonging.
