We’re not about dating, just good company. We’re a friendly Portland community built around tennis, pickleball, walks and food carts.
How It Started
We’re two tennis players who’ve played more competitive matches than we can count, and we’ve loved every one (even the ones we lost). Somewhere between sets we noticed how hard it is to meet people as an adult, even in a city with this much going on. Dating apps weren’t the answer, and neither were big anonymous groups. So we built DescribeYourself: a place where you say what you like to do and find people who want to do it with you. That might be a hitting partner, a walking buddy, or someone to try a new food cart with.
